Staygo the Mycologist

A weird, probably elderly mycologist. Annoys the party by standing in front of the only exit of a certain tunnel. He moved from the way only when the party found a special mushroom for him. I guess it was red with white large dots and small black dots for eyes. After the party give him this mushroom, he jumps six times his height, uses his fist to break a block out of the ceiling of the cave, and disappears to unknown regions, presumably on a quest to save some random monarch's daughter.

There are rumours that he might be one of Mario's numerous illegitimate children.
