Mayor of Generic Town

Some guy in Legend of Mystery (complete text). He was the mayor of Generic Town (hence the name of the article) until he got kidnapped by The Bandit King. He turns into a hideous slime beast thanks to The Bandit King's crafty ninja magic, and the party "rescues" him by defeating the hideous slime beast, which inexplicably turns into the unscathed mayor. After this point, his plot relevance ends; his daughter, Melony, goes along with the party, though, and has a half-assed romance with The Hero.
