I definitely understand why vocals would be a dealbreaker for something like Burzum.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - [Luciferian Towers #02] Bosses Hang, Pt. I [4:39] New album is amazing as expected.

My Bloody Valentine - [Loveless #08] Sometimes [5:19]
I’m trying to think of another case where another album is as clearly the best of its genre as Loveless is. This is not to say that there aren’t other great shoegaze albums, but no one’s ever going to touch this one, or even create anything that sounds remotely like it, Shields included. In fact, the only thing that even comes close is Tremolo. I’ve found myself taking it for granted at times in the past, and I’ve tried to remedy that more recently by trying not to play it too often, but at this point I think I’m going to be playing MBV’s whole discography on loop for awhile. (Tremolo might be just as good, and in particular I’d rank “Honey Power” as being as good as anything on this album except maybe this song or “Soon”, but it’s just an EP.)

Depends if they come anywhere near Florida, and also what quality earplugs I can get my hands on. (They're known for being one of the loudest bands ever.)

Is this really a new member? In 2018? Welcome to the boards, if so
![]() ATM I’m probably listening to Craig Hardgrove’s remix of “New Pacific”. You can download them separately from his Marathon Remixes site; most are also part of the soundtrack of Eternal.

It would, but I strongly doubt that to be the case. “Faminepulse” is a movement of “Cassandra Gemini” by the Mars Volta; I find it a lot less likely that a spambot would randomly put those two words together.
