Well, they toured with Opeth and Cynic this year.

But they're nothing like Opeth. It's very hard to describe. I'll upload a track from their latest album for you to sample. The rest is pretty much like it.

I'm uploading two good tracks for people to try out first. One reminds me pretty bad of Mastodon and the other is just epic in it's own right.

I've thought about it and this is something like Doom Metal and Death Metal, musicially, and Doom Metal and what can only really be described as Mikael Akerfeldt for vocals, though mainly just doom metal.

Precambrian is an excellent album. I probably haven't given this enough attention.

To me the vocals sit more on the line between a gruff metalcore style and Aaron Turner of Isis, with a bit of Troy Sanders from Mastodon, for good measure.

Also, fans of this should probably check out Zozobra as well.

not much. If it's really insane I might try it, but stuff like Dream Theater and Symphony X is just too texturally bland for my tastes these days.
